Planning Philosophy

Ruby has been in the event industry for 7 years. She originally started in the industry as an event manager in public events. After realizing that she loved her job but did not love working for somebody else, Ruby broke away from the company she was with and started her own planning business focusing on weddings. She has now been running her wedding planning business for 3 years!

Ruby’s Mantra, “Your day. Your way,” emphasizes collaboration over imposition. Instead of giving opinions on what your vision should be, she works with you to bring your vision to life. Ruby takes on all kinds of weddings, whether they are traditional, unconventional, or something in between.

Wedding planning tips

Her favorite part of the planning process is the day of coordination on the wedding site. She loves the adrenaline and excitement of seeing everything come together. Another thing she loves and believes all couples should do, is have a private last dance together. Wedding days are very busy and couples often don’t get enough time throughout the day to soak in the fact that they’re married! The last dance is a very intimate moment that gives them the chance to do this.
